Top Three Strategies

Here are three strategies to help you get a high score.

  1. If you have no clue guess quickly!
  2. First questions are the easiest
  3. Pay attention to the quiz author

Let me elaborate:

If you have no idea what the answer is just make a random guess without wasting time.

I mean, since you don't know the answer, the faster you register something the higher your score if you luck out and get it right. A quick answer can get you 18,000 points or more!

Moving on...

Keep in mind that usually Question #1s are easiest. When I write a quiz I make sure that the first question is a gimme. It may look complicated, and it may be wordy, but if you take your time you will often find there is a major clue lurking somewhere.

But, not all of us Quiz-writers do this. Which brings me to...

Know who wrote the day's quiz! This is important because the different quiz-writers have different styles. Some are sneakier, some more straightforward, and some have certain tendencies you can pick up on over time.

I myself can't get Bernie Madoff out of my head. He comes up every time I write a 2000s quiz because his story is so interesting to me. The dude is a treasure trove of triv.

"Treasure trove of triv," that is fun to say!

Anyway, hopefully these tips help you score higher. I love it when a new name finishes on top. Since the Leaderboard refreshes at midnight, every single day we all have a fair shot at glory!

Thanks for playing! PEACE! ✌️
